Q: Are the six Fightball teams compatible with each other?
A: Yes. All six teams in the set are fairly balanced against
each other. This seems like the only answer that makes any
sense, but people do ask.
Q: Which two decks should I start with?
A: There are no "beginner" or "expert"
decks in the set, and no particular pair that you should start
with based on game mechanics. We suggest you pick your favorite
team based on the artwork or the players, and if you like
it we know you'll buy the rest anyway.
Q: My game came without a rulebook. Help?
A: There was a sorting error in the first print run that seems
to have left the rule sheet out of about one game in 50. If
your game has no rulebook, you can read the rules here
or download them in PDF form here.
Unfortunately, we don't have any spare copies of the printed
rulebook, but we are trying to make sure this doesn't happen
in the next printing.
Q: My deck seems to be missing some cards. Help?
A: Collating problems in the decks are much less common than
the missing rulebook, but they can happen. A deck list for
each team is available on the team pages under the Players
button, here. If you find that
you have a weird assortment of cards, you can contact the
customer service department at Cheapass Games with your mailing
address, and let them know which cards you are missing. If
they like you, they will send replacements.
Q: Why don't you use a play mat instead of the 24 Court Cards?
A; This was a difficult decision, but we decided that using
court cards was a little better. Eventually we hope to release
custom court cards that contain traps and other special effects,
something we couldn't do with a play mat. But mainly we just
hate the feel of a folded-up play mat that won't lie flat.
Q: How can I cope with the world of emptiness that weighs
heavy upon my soul?
A: Play more Fightball!
